Oh sweet Lord... I implore you, explore* the Billy Ray Cyrus website. It is making me laugh so much. The man is a GENIUS

Uh oh... This is turning into some sort of BRC fanpage.

So... What's new in politics???

*Is EXplore the opposite of IMplore?
OK, how much does Billy Ray Cyrus remind you of Rex Manning from Empire Records??

HE'S CUT OFF HIS MULLET!!! (but you get the idea...)
I have decided to keep a mullet log. For those of you who think this is odd or random, let me explain something...

Here in Spain, specifically here in Barcelona, the mullet is a very popular hairstyle. All of the coolest people have them and it is not limited to only one gender. Everybody can share in the fun and intrigue of the mullet; girls, boys, grandmas and grandpas, little dogs and pet gold fish... I digress...
However, a word of warning - if you are ever in Spain and you want a haircut, be very careful. There is a 94%* chance that you will be given a mullet no matter what you ask for.

"Just a little off the back and a trim of my fringe if you please" ... "Mullet it is then..."

"Could you dye my hair blue, shave it all off and give me a large furry hat to wear please?" ... "What's that you say?? Mullet?! OK"

I am worried in case hairdressers are not getting a proper education in Spanish hairdressing schools.

You really have to see it to believe it. And the most worrying thing is that it is starting to become normal, the novelty is wearing off and people close to me are actually considering mulleting themselves... (I think I just made up a verb...) So, as an attempt to stop myself and my friends from seeing the mullet as a normal, unamusing, and more seriously, attractive, way to have ones hair, I am going to keep a log. On my blog.

26th November 2003...
Female.
Approx. 26 years.
Waitress in restaurant near my work.
Mullet originally of a dark brown colour but has had blond highlights (some time ago by the looks of roots). Mullet forming rat-taily effect as appeared not to have been washed in approximately 4 days. Traces of a fringe. Somewhat wavy, but not anything compared to my dream of the curly mullet. (Not MY dream, obviously...)

My mum used to have a mullet... I hope it's not in the DNA.

*this percentage may not be accurate as I just made it up...

Well, Lordy, how terribly exciting. I think I'm finally becoming a computer literate (aka geek)... You're proud aren't you little bro?

This blog thing is a bit of an enigma as yet... I don't really want to whine in such a public place like I would do in a diary, it seems a little bit harsh on you all (or at least, the three people I have given the address to) to have to listen to my ramblings from this faraway iberian peninsularrr. I cannot guarantee I will have hilarious anecdotes to share with you all every day (please don't be too shocked). Mostly I have a feeling I will be making comments on my new life as a capitalist pig-dog-swine.

It is, like, so much fuuuhhhn.

What I will say... be careful of the ass grabbers.

(And I will get back to you as soon as I sort my head out a little, it has been a rollercoaster of a week.)

(Sorry but I am loving making links to everything...)

A very warm, wet and somewhat slimy welcome to the exciting world of salmon farming...

I have just noticed that the word "blog" is a blaschek of the phrase "blue dog". Incredible.

Off to a flying start, watch me now!!
